Project Groundwork & brickwork at Clough Lodge
Location Bolton, Greater Manchester
Date present – continuing developments
At Clough Lodge our work has been ongoing intermittently, for quite some time.
The centre piece is undoubtedly the tennis court which involved the reduce level
dig and removal from site of 1000 tons of spoil and the bringing in of 500 tons of
clean stone for drainage and filling.
The tennis court and other retaining walls have been constructed from approximately
450m2 of concrete blocks faced off with Scottish sandstone.
There has been extensive work to the drainage systems with the installation of rainwater
harvester’s new manholes and land drains. There has also more recently been the addition
of more patio areas, and the lifting of the 100m long natural stone boundary wall
by 750mm complete with buttresses.
